    Die

    Visit

Nestled at the foot of the Vercors cliffs and edged by the Drôme river, the town of Die inherited its monuments from the Roman era, with in particular its ramparts and the St Marcel gate. Still, the Middle Ages left magnificent buildings like the cathedral. Today, the town of Die owes its reputation to its wine production that gave birth to the sparkling Clairette de Die.
